Hi I'm Teri...

My history

Born in Tacoma, I was raised between Toledo, Ohio and middle Georgia. I oscillated between arts and science throughout my school years, finally settling on Fine Arts at Kennesaw State University. After a stint in the public arts non-profit space, I finally landed as a UI designer in tech start-ups.  I love puzzles and solving problems and my enduring motto has always been to challenge yourself & learn from the deltas. Because of that motto, I found myself as a product manager for nearly 2 years. Combining my roles as a visual designer & product manager is how I’ve come to where I am today.

My personal work as an artist has taught me how to find creativity within the restraints that are given. In the end, my background in the arts has taught me to think, dream and plan big and my work as a product manager has taught me to be pragmatic when iterating and delivering. Most of all, my experience has taught me to value my dev partners, they lowkey create magic.

None of my fears can go where I'm headed

Enough about work,

I am an avid knitter, reader, film enthusiast & parent to a needy corgi named Clementine. I am in the middle of re-establishing my arts studio, so leads on a good desk are deeply appreciated. Cookbooks and food science are a special interest of mine, I have about 50 cookbooks currently. Ina Garten makes the best ones in my personal opinion. I watch a lot of video essays and knitting podcasts on youtube.

A personal recommendation, you should definitely watch Taskmaster, all 18 season are available in full on youtube.
